Invitation to SPE-PESA SA Mentoring Program Launch & YPP Professional Development Event

With 30 eager mentors and mentees signed up, the inaugural SPE-PESA SA Mentoring Program is now all set to go! While some mentors and mentees have already been in contact with each other, the program launch is coming up on 14th July and will be held in conjunction with a YPP Professional Development Event.
Please join us for an evening of informal networking and hear from a distinguished industry leader – all welcome (you do not need to be a mentor or mentee to attend the event):

Bill Ovenden, Vice President Exploration, Santos
Bill will be speaking about his very successful international career rising through the technical ranks as a geologist to his current position as Vice President. In particular, he will highlight the impacts of mentoring, with examples linked back to his career journey to date
About the Presenter:
Bill is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has worked on exploration projects in Australia, Central and South-East Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and South America, with companies including Sun Oil, Kufpec, ExxonMobil and Ampolex. He joined Santos in 2002 after working for ExxonMobil in Indonesia.
